Namaste

Why me? I am into full time Software Engineering IT career, a family man, dad to two lovely school going daughters, live locally in Maidenhead, have a mortgage, love dogs. I am exposed to stress of modern life, health concerns of a desk job, cost of living challenges, RBWM council issues. In short, I am your local guy you can relate to. Practicing yoga with me can offer you: - Unique Sequences : I customise my sessions based on the mood of my class. I do not come with a rigid pre-set sequence. It is made on the spot depending on what my students feel like doing. - I'll adapt sessions to your unique needs, goals, and experience level. I provide alternatives for all levels. - No YogaRobots - I believe in awareness. Do your poses with focus, not being Yoga Robots. Be aware of your body, your mind, your breathe, your being. Comfort - Whether you're a beginner or advanced, I create a space where you feel comfortable to grow. No fees - I am not here to make money. Yoga should be free, and I want to keep it that way. Of course, you can donate, that will help me with the costs involved in renting the studio. Let me know your goals, and we’ll start your journey!
Welcome! I’m Ajay, and I’m excited to be part of your yoga journey. My passion for yoga began 14 years ago, and since then, I’ve dedicated myself to deepening my understanding of this transformative practice. As a certified yoga teacher, I believe yoga is not just a series of poses – it’s a way of connecting with our bodies, minds, and hearts in a meaningful and healing way.
I aim to create a space where everyone feels comfortable, regardless of their level of experience, and encourage students to honor their own bodies and practice at their own pace. Whether you’re looking for a challenging flow or a calming, restorative practice, I tailor each class to meet the needs of my students. Read some testimonials here.
I am a Certified Yoga Teacher (US RYT 200 Hours) from Bhakti Yogshala, Rishikesh, India. UK DBS checked annually.
When I am not teaching yoga, you will find me busy with my Software Development career and spending time with my family.
I’m here to support and guide you on your path, whether you're just starting your yoga journey or seeking to deepen your practice.
Let’s breathe, flow, and grow together. See you on the mat! 🌿
Why Yoga in studio? Practicing yoga in a studio setting offers several unique benefits: * Expert Guidance: Studios provide access to certified instructors who can ensure proper alignment, reduce injury risks, and help you progress effectively. * Focused Environment: A studio is free from distractions, creating a peaceful and inspiring space to deepen your practice. * Community Connection: Yoga studios foster a sense of belonging, allowing you to meet like-minded people and build supportive relationships. * Variety of Classes: Studios offer diverse styles, levels, and workshops, allowing you to explore and find what resonates with your goals and preferences. * Accountability: Being part of a studio encourages commitment and consistency, helping you stick to your practice. * Atmosphere: Studios are designed to create a calming ambiance, with features like dim lighting, soothing music, and props to enhance your experience. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, a studio offers a structured, safe, and enriching environment to grow your yoga practice.
Why Yoga should be free? Yoga being free is rooted in its foundational philosophy and accessibility to all: * Yoga's Philosophy: Yoga originates from a tradition of sharing knowledge for spiritual and physical well-being, not as a commercial endeavor. * Universal Access: Making yoga free ensures everyone, regardless of financial status, can benefit from its physical, mental, and emotional healing. * Community Wellness: Free yoga can foster inclusivity, bringing diverse groups together to promote collective well-being. * Stress Relief Without Barriers: In a world filled with financial pressures, free yoga can serve as a sanctuary for those who need it most. While many teachers need to charge for their time and expertise, community-led free or donation-based classes honor the spirit of yoga while still being sustainable.
